Shirley and her team are absolutely phenomenal in creating the perfect complimentary bridal looks. She did both my shaadi and valima looks and everyone was absolutely in awe of how my bridal looks suited my features but also of how my hijab was placed. Shirley provided expert advice and talked through different details and hijab styles that would complement me and the outfit. She made sure I was secure and comfortable in the heavy outfits as I had double dupattas and a hijab. Shirley made sure everything flowed nicely and I didn’t look like I was overflowing in fabric.
My entire bridal party had also gotten ready with the party makeup team and absolutely loved the experience.
I would recommended any hijabi bride looking for a full bridal experience to book with Shirley and her sisters as they all are exceptional in their work.

Shirley Woo is the best wedding makeup artist ever. She did all of my events, and I couldn’t be happier that I chose her. All 3 days were completely different looks, and she did them exactly how I wanted and even better than what I had imagined. She understood what I want for each day and made sure every look felt different while still feeling like me.

I also bonded with her really well, she is really fun and sweet! I was also sad to say bye to her at the end of it all considering how fun the whole experience was. I really couldn’t have asked for a better makeup artist.

The trial with Shirley was super expensive and absolute trash. The makeup looked so bad and wonky and when I asked her to change it, she said she would do so on my wedding day. Hello are we okay???? If you can’t even get it right on the trial, why would I believe you can get it right on the actual day of.my.wedding. EVERYONE could tell it was done sooo poorly and asked me what happened with the makeup. So obviously cancelled the actual makeup, since the trial went so poorly. But hundreds of dollars down the drain now. Can’t believe she was unwilling to redo the makeup during the trial when that’s what the trial is for…

I can bring my own inspiration, ask for their honest opinion, and/or latest trends; I always walk out with a combination of all three. The reason is because they are amazing at what they do, the products used are really good, and you feel like family when you are there.

Every month I get my eyebrows threaded by Monica, and she is truly the best. Even for such a small service, she never rushes it. She takes her time, works with precision, and makes you feel like you actually matter as a client. At this point, I won’t let anyone else touch my eyebrows — she’s that good.

I had an exceptional experience at The Beauty Concept recently. I had a facial and eye contour treatment by Monika and it was the best facial experience I’ve had. Each touch was gentle and caring and I was extremely relaxed. I then had my hair cut by Shirley. I have long thick hair and I trusted Shirley to cut it as she pleased. She gave me a haircut that still showcased my length and thickness but took a great deal of weight from my head. I am over the moon with my recent visit and it ended up being the self care day I didn’t know I NEEDED! Thank you!

Shirley and the team are absolutely amazing! I went because they have special facilities and accommodations for girls who wear a hijab, which I really appreciated! Shirley is great with long/mid-length hair, and my hair is curly (not straight). She is extremely skilled at cutting wavy/curly hair as well, while keeping hijab hairstyles and hair length in mind to allow for maintaining the hijab bun. She did a great layered cut, which brought the life back to my hair, and the curls bounced right back up! She also showed me a few updo styles for under the hijab.
Kulwinder did a fantastic blow-dry, washed my hair earlier, and gave a great head massage!
Cannot recommend them enough, especially if you have mid-length, thick, curly, or straight hair. These ladies are amazing!

The best place to get your hair cut in town!!!! Shirley does my hair and she does such a good job each time. She’s so attentive, detailed and knows how to cut your hair based on your face shape. She listens, but she also advises. I had a not-so-great experience at a different salon and had to come back to Shirley to fix my hair! I wear the hijab and everyone here is so accommodating. Highly recommend!

I booked this salon for December 26 & 27, 2025 for a wedding party. We had a large group and the whole team at Beauty Concept was so wonderful to work with.

Richard was very friendly and easy to work with to finalize the bookings and deposits. I live in the US, so he guided me on how to send over the deposits easily. Richard also created time slots for each group and guided me on how to organize our large party. He was very helpful and even assisted me when we had some cancellations within our group.

The girl working with Richard (I apologize, I forgot her name), she was very sweet. She took each client from our group to the car when it was snowing heavily. She made sure our hair and makeup did not get ruined and treated us so highly.

Riffat did my makeup, and Afia did my hair. Both of them were wonderful to work with and went beyond my expectations. My looks for each day were much better than the pictures I showed them. I received tons of compliments.

Overall, the whole team at Beauty Concept was so friendly and accommodating. Our large group consisted of people from different countries, and the whole process was seamless. The owners were overlooking everything, which gave us a peace of mind as well. Definitely recommend this salon and the staff!
